Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using japply.io ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

japply.io provides AI-powered tools for job seekers, including resume building, cover letter generation, interview preparation, application tracking, skills coaching, and LinkedIn optimization. The Service is available in 6 languages and uses a token-based pricing model.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
  • One person may not maintain more than one free account

4. Token System and Payments

Free Tokens

New accounts receive 25 free tokens. Free tokens do not expire.

Purchased Tokens

Purchased tokens never expire and are non-transferable. Token packages are one-time purchases unless otherwise specified (e.g., the Unlimited monthly subscription).

Pricing

Current token packages: Starter ($9/150 tokens), Pro ($29/500 tokens), Unlimited ($39/month), Lifetime ($249/10,000 tokens). Prices are in USD and may change with notice.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. Contact us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. Tokens already consumed cannot be refunded.

Subscriptions

The Unlimited subscription renews monthly. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

5. AI-Generated Content

  • Content generated by our AI tools is provided as suggestions and starting points
  • You are responsible for reviewing and editing all AI-generated content before use
  • We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose
  • You own the content you create using our tools. We claim no rights over your resumes, cover letters, or other generated materials

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to create fraudulent or misleading documents
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent our AI systems
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated scripts or bots to consume tokens
  • Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights
  • Resell or redistribute generated content as a competing service

7. Intellectual Property

The japply.io platform, including its design, code, templates, and AI prompts, is our intellectual property. Resume templates are provided for personal use in job applications. You may not redistribute our templates as standalone products.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Account deletion permanently removes all your data, including resumes, cover letters, applications, and remaining token balance. This action cannot be undone.

10. Limitation of Liability

japply.io is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Job application outcomes or interview results
  • Accuracy of AI-generated content, salary estimates, or career advice
  • Temporary service interruptions or data loss
  • Actions taken by third parties (employers, ATS systems) based on your application materials

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. In case of termination for violation, unused tokens are forfeited.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
